No, not this Apollo Gallery. Another one.
Let’s make this quick, so we can get back to educational and cultural content on the world of aesthetics.
I’ve launched a website for my artwork and more: https://apollogallery.org/
At this time, the website only has canvas prints. I’ll add more things over time, like hardcover journals and posters. Let me know if you have any requests.
There are two main sections so far.
I. Original works with primary or secondary usage of AI.
This is further divided into (1) traditionally-inspired works, (2) portraits, and (3) contemporary and modern styles. I’ve posted a bunch of my work on Twitter and/or Instagram and now it can be decor up to 48” wide.
II. Classic works restored and enhanced for maximum quality.
This one is about me solving a problem.
When I moved to a new place, I wanted to decorate with some of my favorite paintings. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find any good options - most prints were overpriced, or low-quality Chinese knockoff junk, or the art had too many age-related cracks/blemishes.
So I took the DIY road.
I digitally restored a few works manually in Photoshop and used AI to enhance the image quality. That way I could get higher-quality prints than anyone else, AND at a lower price point.
Now I’m sharing with the world as I continue to do this. It takes a long time, so progress will be slow, but feel free to DM me requests.
Note: I’m only working with classic paintings when legal to do so. I begin with files from official sources when possible, ensuring that I can either acquire the rights or CC0 applies. As much as I love art, I’m not breaking any laws for it.
Turn homes into museums. I don't know if this is insanity, passion, or a hefty dose of the 'tism, but I'm going to continue with the project either way.
In conclusion
I’ll continuously update this digital gallery over time. New products, new prints, new designs, etc. Once I have enough pieces done, I’ll put together a coffee table art book. I’ll likely rename the Substack to something more appropriate so it doesn’t conflict with the art site’s name (Apollo Academy? Apollo University? idk, tbd - been mulling it over for a while.)
Samples of canvases are already hanging on my walls and I stand by their quality.
I hope people find this interesting and useful, especially as we start moving into the holiday season.
More to come.
